Report On Blood Donation Camp

Blood Donation Camp as a part of NSS Acttivity was  held In Dr .M.V.Shetty
Institute Of Technology, Thodar, Moodabidri On 23rd October 2009. It Was started
At  11 am at seminar Hall. The chief guest for this occasion was Dr . Suchithra K . Rao Medical officer, Blood bank, wenlock Hospital Mangalore. Secretary Of
Dr . M.V. Shetty trut  Dr . M . Ramagopal shetty and Principal of MVSIT
Dr. sandeep . J . Nayak were also present.

The ceremony was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by chief guest,Secretary and
Principal. Dr . Suchithra K . Rao has given a talk on importance of blood donation.
She explained about different segments of blood and types of donars, formalities,
Eligibility criteria and suggestions to the blood donors.

The welcome speech was done by Mr .Jayaprakash W. Pinto, Preethi proposed the vote of thanks and program was co-ordinated by Mr John Paul vas and Preethi. After the ceremony students and teaching and Non teahing staff members were volunterly donated the blood.
