PREVENTION  IS BETTER THAN  CURE – Mr T.S.Thomas,Director,LINK Deaddiction and counseling centre Mangalore. 

Mr .T.S Thomas was addressing first semester engineering students at Dr.M.V.Shetty Institute of Technology Thodar,Mangalore on the Eve Of AIDS  DAY. Mr Thomas informed that Prevention is better than cure and requsted students to stay away from tobacco, drugs and Alcohol.

Another guest smt Karol D’soza speaking on AIDS AWARENESS , said that Prevention is the only cure and HIV affected persons should be treated affectionately. 

Dr Sandeep.Nayak,Principal,DR.Prakash Karat, Mr Shashi Prasad were present. 

Mr Shaheer mon welcomed, Shreya compered and Mr Jayaprakash Pinto proposed vote of thanks . Students participated in the discussions held after the talk in which delgates from Norway also participated.
