INAGURATION OF ISTE-CHAPTER AT DR.M.V.S.I.T(05/04/2010)

Chief guest Dr.N.R.Shetty president,ISTE,New Delhi inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp. Dr.M.R.Shetty secretary.MVST,Mangalore presided over the function. Dr.Chandrashekar Shetty A.O, MVSIT and Principal Dr.Sandeep Nayak were on the dias.
Dr.N.R.Shetty mentioned in his address, the college without research programme is like a Temple without Idol. He requested the students to be creative and innovative to face globalization. He said India is young country, people of their age below 35 are more and India will be No1 country in next ten years.
Dr.N.R.Shetty advised the students to visit ISTE website and to start “Students ISTE-Chapter” and also mentioned advantages of becoming ISTE member.
Dr.N.R.Shetty released the technical report “ Characterization of small scale irrigation schme” by  Dr.Sandeep Nayak. Appreciated the technical report and Faculty seminar report.
 Dr.M.Ramagopal Shetty secretary,MVST,Mangalore informed the faculty members to have regular meetings of ISTE to update knowledge. Dr.M.Ramagopal Shetty released the faculty seminar report.
Toppers of 3rd semester were felicitated by ISTE Chapter-MVSIT.
Miss Sruthi welcomed, Prof Purushothama.C.T gave the report of ISTE, Mr John Paul Vas introduced chief guest and Mr Vinod proposed vote of thanks.
