Prof .N.R.Shetty , President ISTE New Delhi inaugurated ISTE Chapter of  Dr.M.V.Shetty  Institute of Technology during April 2010 and chapter organized many technical activities including national conference  for the benefit of faculty and students. Considering its overall leadership and quantum of activities from amongst the chapters in Karnataka section , received BEST ISTE CHAPTER AWARD for 2011.
