Seminar and Awareness Program on Water Conservation

On 23rd March Water conservation program was held at Dr.M.V.Shetty Institute of Technology . Dr Sandeep Nayak  explained that by  Planting trees , soil erosion can be prevented and also ground water depletion can be avoided. He also stressed that combined effort from students, public and NGO’s required to conserve and save water.
Shri  Rayee Rajkumar, teacher Jain High School  Moodbidri  also informed about harmful  effects of plastic bags . He has explained about stamp collections and different stamps available in India and abroad. He has also distributed Cloth bags to toppers of First semester engineering  , which were sponsored by Corporation Bank, Mangalore.
Mr Nagaraj Shetty Welcomed, Ms Shruti introduced and M r John Paul Vas proposed vote of thanks. Pamplets on Save Water were dispaed at Cantteen and mess on this occasion.
